Wirlpool washer wtw5100sq0 tub is vibrating and banging. the drum seems to move all over even by hand

It is so common that the washing machine can make terrible noise in many ways and is a common fault. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that machine is vibrating when it is running then the motor /drum suspension has to be inspected. Since these fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for the noise with a good inspection lamp. Manually turn the motor and drum and listen for the noise, if so the motor bearings, the drum agitator shaft and fittings must be checked. Also the suspensions which include the shock absorbers and springs, the body clamps must be checked to be in correct alignment and not changed in position. Tightening of the mounting is also very important. Finally in most cases a drop of OIL or smear of grease on the moving parts cane solve most issues.

The first problem: when the tombour turns I hear a loud noise. Then the tombour does not turn any more when the machine is loaded with garment, but when it is empty, it turns slowly.

It is most likely either the belt or the idlers which the belt wraps around. Open the top (disconnect first) and have someone turn the drum while you watch to see if the belt is slipping.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.

Hello my Wirlpool washing machine makes a scratching noise when the drum is turning during the wash. The noise disappears however when the washing machine is spinning. Would it be worn out bearings?

You would hear the bearings in the spin cycle if it was them ....it would sound like you are at the airport...you will probably find that a bra wire has caught itself inbetween the drum and the tub and is scratching as it goes around.

Agitator dosnt turn for wirlpool 6LBR7255B

If you can hear the motor working but the agitator does not move, then it is the "coupling".

Let me know if you need more information.

Washing machine makes a clanging sound during agitation/spin

Without being there to physically see what it's doing or hear the sound, I would say there's 3 possibilities. 1) drive block is slipping on basket drive / brake assembly. 2) basket drive assembly is worn where drive block seats onto it. 3) clutch slipping.
