The Gateway MT3705 does not include a built-in bluetooth adapter. You will need to connect and external adapter to add bluetooth functionality to this system.

Hi,this is a detailed step on how to connect your htc to your notebook via bluetooth.
STEP 1.
Turn on the bluetooth of your htc which is accesed at the connnectivity settings of your phone.
STEP 2
Ensure you also put on the bluetooth on your notebook,most notebooks have a single button in front of the keyboard,to turn on the bluetooth.
STEP 3
You now go to the bluetooth settings on your phone,and click on 'add device'.when you click on it,it requests for a pass code,when this is done for the first time,this pass code can be any 4 digits of your choice.
STEP4
After entering the pass code on the phone,a pop up shows on your notebook requesting for the same pass code you entered on your phone.
Ensure you enter the same pass code for both the phone and notebook,if not the devices won't pair via bluetooth.
STEP 5.
After entering the pass code on the notebook,the notebook is automatically paired with the phone via bluetooth,afterwards you can be able to transfer files between the phone and the notebook via bluetooth.
