It started when i was transferring music to it.It was doing fine then it turned into system error where the screen was white. I tried solving that problem but it just got worse. Now it doesn't start up. I turn it on it just stays at the Philips screen and at the bottom it says "www.philips.com/welcome". I tried resetting it but it doesn't work. I connected it to the computer to attempt to solve it but it jsut stays at that screen. so i do not know what to do, either its fixable or i should return it.

sometimes when you download music free from a site, your computer will not recognize the file type, therefore when you try to play or transfer music, it will be lost or unknown.

What's the music format of the songs that you placed on your mp3 player? Some MP3 Players only capable of playing song files with .mp3 extension and are incapable of playing other music format like wav, wma, etc. Check also the contents of the player for corrupted files and foreign files. Some viruses from a computer could affect the performance of your mp3 player.
