Having trouble with turning it on

When I push the power button the little green light just flashes but nothing turns on? I've tried making sure the batteries are in correctly and tried changing them a hundred times-but nothing.I've had it for six months. Is it shot allready?

Re: having trouble with turning it on

Try changing to rechargable batteries. I had exactly the same problem. I used recharable they run out so tried various types of alkaline batteries but the camera would not turn on. Getting the flashing green light. Charged the batteries put them back in and working again

Wont turn on, new batteries, green light just blinks.

Make sure you are using the correct batteries, and that they are installed correctly. Some cameras require more powerful kinds of batteries and will not work with the cheaper kinds.
A blinking light can mean something is wrong with the power, not enough or something else.
If you have a power adapter or can get one, you may try that, to see if the camera will work without batteries. If it does, then some problem exists in the battery circuit.

My samsung l830 camera lens is stuck open and when i press the power button it beeps 3 times and remains blue then does nothing

If the lens on the camera is stuck out, look to see if it's a little crooked. If it is, try to gently straighten it. If it still won't retract, try to gently push it in as you turn the power on.
If it won't turn on (the green light blinks and it beeps 3 times) push and hold the 'power' button and the 'play' button at the same time for a few seconds - it worked for my S730. Good luck!

Put new batteries in, when turn power button on light turns green and then flashes red, nothing else happens (screen, etc).

if your not using lithium batteries, thats your problem.also these cards are very gentle with them, and make sure you eject them before you take them out of the computer, that can cause big problems if you pull them without ejecting,be careful putting them everywhere, they can be currupt all kinds of ways.also be careful pushing and ejecting out of the camera.good luck i hope i helped,p.s too much heat,or demagneticiization in the airport etc.

Lens stuck, green Power light flashes, nothing happens.

get a butter knife or any thin object like that and use it to push out the lens and turning it on at the same time  you will hear a clicking noise which is normal  once completely out, use your hand with a gentle but firm presure move it form left to right
and then hopefully it should work after that

Not turning on

The batteries probably need to be replaced. Be sure that any batteries seat properly and tightly. You may have to tape the battery door shut with strong tape to keep the contact tight. This type of damage is expensive to repair compared to the cost of the cameras. You can take it in and have it looked at, but be sure to get an estimate and then you can make an educated decision on whether to repair or replace it.

Best wishes to you and Thank you for using Fix Ya!

Samsung camera not turning on.

First make sure you batteries are strong.

Then this is not a great solution, but try this. 1) Remove the battery. 2) Hold down the power button and wait 30 seconds...but keep holding the button. 3) After 30 seconds and while holding the button down insert the batteries and then close the compartment. It should come on.

I managed to duplicate the problem by opening the battery compartment with the camera turn on and then if I put them back it would turn on and the lense does not retract.

Good Luck
