Question about Mitsubishi WD-52525 52" Rear Projection HDTV
The orange light is on in the front to replace the bulb but everything works fine. Right when it starts it tells me to replace the lamp but I replaced it a few months ago and it's still working fine.
What should I do?
When you replace these laps on these TV's they have an internal clock to countdown the lamp usage. After installing the new lamp the TV asked you if you replaced the lamp and you should answer yes. If not its going to ask again. First thing is go through the motion of replacing the lamp take the lamp out etc. then place it back in the set and turn it back on. Follow the on screen instructions and that should reset the lamp timer.
