Re: logitech wingman joystick driver

Hi Momma_J

you dont have to search on the internet for the driver, its built in windows.

you just go to start>configuration>gamecontrollers
in that screen you press the button add, and search in the list for logitech wingman digital device and select it.
now press ok and let the computer find the joystick, after that you will be asked to restart the computer press yes and on the next startup your joystick work :)

it still not working
just contact me on my hotmail ( and i will see what i can do for you

When I plug in my Wingman (win 7-64) and I get the B.S.o.D. and windows has to reboot. any ideas? Im sure my driver is compatible for the system

I have Win7-64, and able to run Wingman. If you have the CD, it is okay, you can install both the joystick and USB drive, but the better option is that you go to the Logitech site, and download the latest drivers for the Wingman. Wingman is the older version of 3D, but the drivers of Logitech extreme, 3D are workable with the old Joystick Wingman., and they should work well on the Window 7 , 64 version

I'm trying to use the cable from my Saitek P750 on my Logitech wingman extreme because the P750 has a USB and a 15 pin the wingman only has a 15 pin. My notebook doesnt have the 15 pin but has 3 USB ports....

Buy a USB to gameport adapter from Radioshack ($1.85!!!! cos it's sooo old) set the switch on the adapter to joystick B (with "hat" switch) and then you can hook it up.....drivers are another issue...I'm still searching..:-)

Vista and Logitech Force Feedback Joystick Wingman 3D

I tried the above link and it works fine, on a 32-bit Vista. But if you have a 64-bit Vista you might want to try the 64-bit version of this driver, just search around Google for it. Fixed the problem I was having with this joystick not working correctly in Vista (no feedback). Now it works great.
