Question about Dell Latitude CPX Notebook
My computer has full power and i can push the power button but as soon as i do that it goes off i think i know what the problem is but not for sure i know for a fact the laptop fan doesnt work so i heard from someone that the computer automatticaly shuts down when it has no cooling fan because of overheat but i need a second opion and if it could be anything else before i fix it by buying a new fan
I got a new fan for my PC, but it was under warranty. Your PC does not know that the fan does not work until it overheats. So, you have some other problem. Try to start it without a battery, just plugged in, if it is a laptop. All anyone else will tell you is that if you get it on, you should reflash the bios. That always is what they tell you. I guess it can't hurt, but if it shuts off immediately, maybe you think you have full power but don't? That's what it is acting like, right? No power.
