Hi, Unfortunately this sound's like a faulty timer. Most of those 80 series Kenmore's have the buzzer/end cycle signal built onto the timer, that added to the issue of the timer continuing to advance past the "off" position indicator, I'd suspect a timer. You should check with Searspartsdirect or partsdepot etc. as well as any other local and on-line part's supplier on available new or rebuilt timer's.
