Sony psyc not working...:(

My cd player was working fine until about a week ago. When I put a cd in and push play it says there is no disc...I have tried both burned and regular cd's and nothing works. There is fresh batteries in it and everything...I haven't touched the lens or anything either. I would appreciate any help!
