Lens Error on my Photosmart M525

Everytime I turn my HP Photosmart M525, the screen turns blue and says Lens Error and a bunch of numbers and random letters. Then the blue light blinks, the screen goes black, and it turns off! It's very frustrating because I really want to use it. Is there any way I can have it working without taking it in for repair?
