Hi, We tried all above an still no suction on bottom and brushes don't turn. Do get suction from hoses.

Are you sure you have the correct belt? The proper belt is # 59156500. It is 5/16" wide and about 2 1/2" in diameter. This is not a common belt.

Unplug the machine and then inspect the brush. You might find thread, string, or wire wrapped around it preventing it from spinning. Also check the edges of the brush roller and make sure there are no fibers, etc. wrapped into the wheel well. These are the usual causes of the brush failing to spin. I hope it solves your problem. Are the brushes in the base of the vacuum spinning? You wont get much suction from the base of the hoover if the brush bar isn't working?

Lie the vacuum on it's side and turn it on. If the brushes aren't spinning then your belt has either come off or broken. I suspect this is the cause of your problem.

HighnTools posted this solution a while ago. This might be related to your problem: I have finally fixed my sister's dyson dc 15 beater bar problem. It was just 2 tiny broken wires connect to circuit board lead to the beater bar. The wires broke where they go through the black rubber gommet. You need a torx screwdriver tx 15 to remove 2 plastic covers to access the wires. When looking at the front of the vacuum, the gray covers located on the right side of the vacuum. 1 big cover with a black rubber gasket and other small gray cover is on the rotating ball area.

The following filter in your in your dump cup needs to be replaced.

Even thought the belt may look fine the belt still can be worn and therefore no turn the brush or the clutch. The belts you need are these here:

DC07 with clutch belts

DC07 without clutch belts

Your beater brush could be frozen. Meaning the bearings are shot. You'll need to replace the brush roller
