there might be a problem with your computer check in the system properties, device manager, usb. if all the usb drivers are properly installed the attach the camera.

You camera should have came with a USB cable to connect to a PC. Basically when you connect the camera to the computer, it should recognize it as a removable disc (if you are using XP). Then as a removable disc you can browse and copy/or cut the pics to your computer.
