My manual clean oven range

I have a frigidaire smooth top manual clean range. I cannot seem to get the elements out in order to use an oven cleaner on it. Any suggestions. I think the range is about 5 years old. Help!

    there is absolutely no self-clean on this poor thing. The elements that I am talking about are inside the oven the bottom and the top broiler heat elements. My fear was that I might screw up something on the electrical side of things.

    Thank you for your time. You have been very helpful. I might just have a clean oven! HA HA

You really don't need to remove them if your nervous just turn the power off at the breaker but they wont hut you as long as the oven isn't on

    nothing if you have self clean cycle it will do it by its self just hit clean then start 3hrs should show then door will lock then will clean can wipe up any loose stuff with damp rag before starting but don't put nothing in it after cycle the door wont unlock till the oven senses its safe to open the door so it don't fry your face oven goes to about 800 degrees in self clean turns everything to dust

What oven heating element?

Hello Mary, I am happy to assist you!

I understand that you are unable to read the model number in the storage drawer of your Frigidaire range and that you are seeking the replacement part number for the element in your oven. Are you needing the bake or broil element? Do you remember if you register your range? In this regard, I would highly recommend reaching out to the manufacturer directly to verify if indeed your range was register in order to provide you the correct part number. Best regards - Z

Frigidaire oven wont heat up but stovetop and digital all works

Hello angeleyez82 - The EOC (electronic oven control/control board) basically sends power to both the broil and bake elements. As long as the power supply to the range (240VAC) and wiring between the elements is correct, then typically only the element(s) or EOC could prevent the unit from heating. I hope this information helps to some degree.

Oven will not heat. all the burners on top work fine. what could be wrong?

Usual faults in this order are:
Faulty oven element - check element for holes, blow marks etc;
Burnt off wiring at the oven element terminals - check terminals;
If the oven indicator lights when the oven is turned on it should be the above. If it does not refer below;
Electronic clock set to auto. mode instead of manual mode.

Frigidaire range model #FEFLFSA, is the top element

When you say Top Element, I assume you mean the TOP OVEN ELEMENT, correct? You have bake, and broil? Bake is usually on the bottom, and broil is the top. In order to have the oven operate correctly, the top and bottom elements may come on at start, in order to do as you just said, "Preheat the oven". This will insure an even distribution of the heat in the oven box and result in better cooking expierences. I would not be alarmed or concerned if the top element came on for a short period to pre-heat in preparation for cooking. This is normal. If the top element stayed on, and did not shut off on bake after the pre-heat period, then I would say you have a control board problem. However, if it comes on and then goes out, except when you are broiling, then I would say that this is normal for your stove, and the pre-heat mode of operations. Your owners manual should advise you of this very process in the guide section to how to use the oven. I hope this helps and that all your cakes, pies, souffle's and the like are......delicious. I'm sure they are. I hope this helps and eases your concerns. Kindest regards, Slats.
