Hi !
I just bought a "new" T1200.
I connect it to my PC over a 2906 SCSI-card (I use this for my T2500 as well).
When I tried to do the first "preview" of a negative, I got following error-note:
(translated from Dutch)
There has occured a calibrating-error.
Make sure that the full look-through-surface of the calibrating-opening is free or that the negatif-carrier-frame is properly in place inside the scanner...
What can be the problem...?
Kind regards, Herman.

- Hi !
What I forgot to write: neighter of the 2 mentioned solutions count...
1. The calibrating-opening is FULLY free.
2. The carrier is FULLY inserted.
I tried the scanner on my 2nd PC, it gives the same notification...
See inserted picture (sorry: I use the program in DUTCH).
Kind regards, Herman.

- Hi !
(I think) the problem is NOT a software-problem, since I use the AGFA Fotolook-program with my other scanners (F40, Duoscan T2500 & Arcus 1200)...
I think it is more of a hardware-problem, with the scanner AGFA DUOSCAN T1200...
Did anyone before have a similar problem...?
Kind regards, Herman.Jan 19, 2008
- Thanks for the answer...
BUT... the problem stays the same...!
See picture...
NEVER had this problem with my other AGFA-scanners...!
:-(
ANYONE experience with this error-report...?
Kind regards, Herman.

- Hi !
As I already wrote...
I do think it is NOT a software-problem...!
All my other scanners (AGFA Arcus1200, Duoscan T2500 & F40) work just fine with the program...!
I thgink it is more a hardware-problem...!
Anyone had some resemblent error-problems...?

- Hi !
Untill now, I did not receive a suitable answer... :-(
This scanner still is not working properly...
Did really NO-ONE have this problem before...?
Strange...

- Hi !
What's "power cycling"...?
Originally I speak Dutch, therefor I do not understand these technical terms...
Could you please explain this "power cycling"...?
Thanks !

- Hi Pauldonp!
This scanner is not my only one...!
I use:
1x AGFA Duoscan T2500
2x AGFA Duoscan T1200
2x AGFA Duoscan F40
1x AGFA Arcus 1200
So, please, do not try to learn me how to lock or use a AGFA-scanner... :-)
I already looked inside the scanner & I do not find any (micro-)switches or buttons that neede to be fine-tuned... :-(
Anyone more advice...?
Grtz, H.Feb 12, 2008
- OK ! I understand !
Thank you anyway for try?ng to help me with my problem !
I appreciate it...!

- Hi !
That's the problem...
AGFA does not exist any more (scanner-department)...
The scanner was a "left-over" from a shop...
I think I'll use the faulty scanner for spare-parts... :-(
Thanks anyway !
