The radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
First remove the radio from the dashboard.
Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated
SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOUR STCOK RADIO IS PROBABLY FRIED JUST BUY A AFTER MARKET DECK AND THE CORRECT WIREING HARNESS THAT SHOULD FIX U UP BUT FIRST C IF THE RADIO FUSE IN BLOWN THATS ALWAYS THE FIRST THING TO CHECK IN UR SITSUATION
Normally suppliers make radios idiot proof...but they also make it easier for owners at times...I worked for a car company before...we always found the radio code in the glove compartment on a little sticker pasted on the walls of it....or you can build out the radio almost as if you're stealing it,ask a theaf to help...hehe..on the radio casing...you might find the code...otherwise...google
You will need 2 x removal keys there normally u shaped for rovers depending on age these keys are available on ebay or most car audio retailers dont pay more than a fiver for them ,cheers hope this helps.
