Question about LG 15LW1R 15 in. LCD Television
It ran well, but suddendly all stored tv channels were lost. The airal tv cable is ok because another TV machine runs well. I tried to search tv channels, automatically and manually, but without success. The parameters seem to be ok. May it be a physical problem ?. May someone access via wifi to the transmitter machine and make changes to desconfigure it ?.
Sometimes a power surge or outage will wipe all the presets. (Don't you just hate that?) Put a surge protector on the outlet before you reset the system.

You need to press the button on the top right of the control ( the TV button) once and that will allow you to control the tv once again. Problem occurs when you accidently push VCR or DVD button which means remote control will try a different frequency to operate a VCR or DVD that isn't there. Hope this helps.

The problem your describing can be contributed to your cable box. Depending on your cable company there are times when the box has trouble translating the signal to the tv. You tv is operating normally. Suggest to the cable company to switch your box.

It seems just channel stored data issue.
Please perform Auto Preset / Auto Channel / Auto Tuning (mentioned menu items) and store all channels again.
Hope problem will resolve.

SOURCE: Same problem
Out of range usually has a very different meaning when looking at LCD TV's
It usually means that a resolution that was beyond the design capacity was chosen.
eg some TV's can only do 720p but people may try to set them to 1080I
this would give an OUT OF RANGE" error this is also common to many computer displays too.
