Nokia Restriction Codes are used to remove restrictions added to a Nokia phone by your original carrier so it will only work with their network. It is also known as an unlock code or an unlock password.

You can get the security password from your service provider at free of cost. If your contract period is complete you can ask your cellular operator for the unlock code. But, they do make it very difficult for you to get the code.

I am presuming its just the unlock on the phone..

this code only works if the phone is asking for the code when you switch it on and it wont work if the wrong code has been entered more than 5 times if it has then the phone becomes hard locked and can only be unlocked using flash lead and unlocking software ok
