Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
I am attempting to hook up my PS3 to my HDTV using 1080i resolution. I am using a cable that connects to the AV port and breaks out to component plugs. I am able to configure the PS3 for 1080i via the configuration menu, but I have colors slowly rolling from the bottom of the screen to the top. The colors are green or red. What cable options should I use in the setup and should I use the auto configure option that I've read about?
The best cable to use is an hdmi cable, so long as the tv has hdmi sockets. you shouldn't pay more than 20 pound or 40 dollars for a good one. hope this helps
