Ikegami pm 909 shrinking picture

The deflection current is dropping in both vertical and horizontal. This suggests a low B+.This can also be caused by a flyback problem. Check all the Caps in the HV section. If not, it's the flyback.

When you say small do you mean shrunk up top and bottom as well as from side to side. You definitely have a deflection problem either horizontal or vertical. If the picture just shrunk top and bottom you have a vertical deflection problem. Do you have the service manual for your model? If not let me know and I will email you one. Describe the shrinking issue a little more and I should be able to give you some guidance.

Toshiba TP50H95 No sound no picture

Sounds like a problem in the deflection circuits either vertical or horizontal. You may also want to check the solder connections in the tuner as they have been known to develop cracks over time. But the prior shrinking tends to say deflection problems. If I can assist you further please let me know.

Screen not centerd

If it is a RCA F27649 then it has what they call a bonded yoke, meaning the only adjustments to shift the picture horizontal or vertical are electronic adjustments via the service menu.

Picture Shrinks

It is in the power supply or I would guess most likly in the horizontal sweep section of the tV set. MOST of the time, if the power supply is going lower in voltage, the set will shrink in width,BUT will also shrink in vertical size. If this is not happening, then I would say it is in the horizontal drive circuit. This is not a circuit a user should be experimenting with, as this is the HIGH VOLTAGE circuit and can pack a mean punch! Please if the sets less the 4 to 5 years old you may want to concider an estimate or replacing the set. Its all up to you. GOOD LUCK
