Have you installed all drivers of your laptop with xp compatible? better download it from lenovo site the drivers for windows xp.
Testimonial: "Thanks!"
After going through and installing all the drivers for Windows XP everything worked fine. I've built a couple of computers since then and have gained quite a bit more of experience working with the mysterious internal workings of computers. I just want to add an additional comment about drivers. You probably see or get lots of pop up ads that read "Fix Your Computer Now! Get all the updated drivers for your computer!" Save your money. You shouldn't mess with updating your drivers unless there is a problem. Even then make sure that the driver is the root of the problem - most likely it isn't. When you change the driver other things - not necessarily good - may happen, leaving you in worse shape than you were in to begin with. If you do need to update your driver, download a free copy of Belarc Adviser which will tell you who made the component you want to update. Then go directly to the manufacturers site and find the driver you need - many times the site will have a scanner which will tell you what your current driver is and where to download the latest driver. If you're uncomfortable about downloading the site driver scanner software, save it to your desk top and scan it with your computer security software before you install it.
