You'll have to 'Pair' the two Bluetooth devices to recognize each other, it should work after that.
If it's with your PC you have to make sure the Bluetooth on the PC is compatible with your device (phone).

I want to transfer my files from pc to mobile via bluetooth

If you want to transfer files from pc to the mobile device. Make sure the pc has a bluetooth turn on. Most of the laptops have a built in bluetooh , but for desktop computers you need to purchase a bluetooth adapter.
Once you have the bluetooh turn ON on your computer. Turn on the bluetooh on your mobile device.

From your computer. Right click on the file that you want to transfer and select send to bluetooth. Click on search for bluetooth device and then select the name of your cellphone ( or name you assigned for the bluetooth on your cellphone)Once you click the name, just go next . You will get a message saying accept bluetooh file on your cellphone, just accept the file and your done.

I have an i9 and i cant seem to get my bluetooth to work

There are two reasons your Motorola i9 will refuse to write/accept bluetooth file transfers:

  1. Your users manual states there is a bluetooth file size cap of up 6 megs, & the service provider may have locked it down even lower.
  2. DRM & 'forward-locked' files may be refused by the bluetooth file transfer function.

Here are some steps for troubleshooting your Motorola i9 bluetooth functionality:

  1. confirm that you have sufficient storage on your Motorola i9 for what you are transferring.
  2. confirm your files are < 6 megs in size
  3. confirm your files are DRM-unencumbered.

I hope that helps.

Bluetooth problem

It totally depend on how ur using the blue ttoth.. if u want to use it for sending files just switch on ur bluetooth n then goto ur filemanager or gallery select the fle u want to send ,then take options n select send using bluetooth. or if u want to receive files just enable bluetooth n then in the same window u enabled bluetooth conn there is an option for hiding the bluetooth. so unhide it. then ask the person to send the file .now u ll be prompted for savein the file.so accept it.. n the file wil be in ur inbox if ur using 6630. N btw be more specific about wht you want....thank you.

Bluetooth

Hey, great to hear you got it to work.

I don't like sending big files over bluetooth, in my personal experience when sending a 2mb video
from my phone to another device the transfer took around 2 minutes. not sure what the speed is there but it can't be too fast..

I would suggest you transfer the file with cable or if your phone has a storage card, use a card reader to transfer the file easyly.

also in your premium here

do you still see my solution? I would really appriciate it if you could accept my solution, but make sure you accept the correct solution, sometimes people somehow manage to accept a solution by another expert. So make sure when you accept that your accepting me, (ekse).

also if you need further help just add a comment on this page and Il answer the best I can.

Thanks,

You will then be presented with a list of devices in your area. (Figure 5)
If you do not see the device you wish to send your file to ensure it’s has Bluetooth switched on and select New
Your handset with then search for all Bluetooth devices in your area (Figure 6)
Select your device and your handset will send the file (Figure 7)
The Bluetooth device you are sending your file to must accept the file (Figure 8)

To receive files via Bluetooth ensure you have Bluetooth switched on – only accept files from devices you recognise.
You will receive a message stating the file name with the option to accept or reject the file
To receive select Accept (Figure 9)
The file will then be transferred to your handset (Figure 10)
It will then be saved in your images folder
