How do i hook up dvd player or wii to samsung tv and not get black and white picture?

First do you have to wiggle the connection to get them to work? Cables new? Inputs on back of tv tight don't feel like they are falling off? Also the cable where it goes into the system needs to be tight and shouldn't have to twist or bend it in a way to get it to work if so will need new cables. Make sure red to red wht to wht Ylw to ylw 11_17_2013_5_40_59_pm.png

Im trying to hook up a HD A/V combo cable to my led jvc and the tvs missing one connect part. Im only gettinf black and white but the guy insisted that it was the right cord. What cord do I need?

You don't need a ikonvert box if you tv has a AV out (monitor out on picture) then all you need is an AV cord sorry if this is not helpful

Can i use a dc 9v 200ma power supply?

Hello, no you need 12vdc because of the current drain. Remember to check the polarity when using a non standard powersupply. Because for the sake of a few bucks it would be a shame to blow it up. Try a 12vdc 500ma first and see how that goes. Hope that helps you.

Is there a way to get audio to my tv through this device?

What you need is a audio Y splitter such as a Belkin Audio Y Cable Splitter You can pick one of these up at your local radio shack.
Plug the stereo jack into the audio out on computer (green colored port) Then plug the red/white ends to the matching ports on your tv. Make sure you use the same audio ports that the video from the iMicro is plugged into.

Black and white and no sound!

You are trying to copy or record a copy protected video or your VCR has internal copy prevention turned on. If you wish to copy tapes or dvd's, use a PC based system. You can also pull the raw video information off the VCR if you know where to connect to on the video board of the VCR. I cannot tell you how to to this as I have no idea which VCR you are using however, google the brand and model of your VCR, find a schematic and you should be able to pick the raw video feed into the video decoder chip and use that. Use shielded cables and NEVER undertake any work inside anything when it is plugged into the power outlet, disconnect it first by removing the plug from the outlet (never rely on the switch either).

Avermedia Averkey lite - Monitor Colour Display Issue

I had the same problem. I was going from PC -> Dvd recorder -> TV.
I had the S-Video output from the averkey going via an adaptor into the DVD scart input. I discovered a setting within the DVD menu which could select between 's-video' and 'composite video' on the scart socket. (it appears that scart can carry either/or, I guess).

I changed from composite to s-video, and I got colour.

I think seeing a greyscale image indicates that the signal being sent is S-Video, but the equipment that is recieving it is expecting composite video.
