Sounds a if your heating element isn't being allowed to generate enough hot to send the hot water up the pipe, see most coffee makers do not actually pump the water, what happens is that the water passes through a heater that rapidly heats the water causing steam to push some of the water up the pipe(also creating the popping noise you hear), if the pipe is coated with residue from the water(most water has calcium and other mater which is deposited on the pipe walls during rapid heating), you need to do a cleaning cycle either using a commercial cleaning solution made for coffee pots or you can run some vinegar through it stopping for a few minutes about half way through the amount you are using to allow some of the vinegar to dissolve the residue from the pipe walls. that should clear up the problem, you should clean it at least every couple of weeks to keep it running smoothly
the mechanism is relatively simple and doesn't really have any moving partscold water comes in is rapidly heated as it goes through the pipe forcing it to move faster, building pressure until the rapidly expanding heated water is expelled into the filter. That said, the only active part are the heating circuits and the thermal sensors(circular devices sitting with the metal against the pipes) now either the heating wire is corroded or the sensors are faulty if you have a multimeter you can check to see if either device is more impeded than what the part lists as its proper value would be if its the heating wire, unless you paid a large amount for the coffee maker your best bet is to just get another one since they are not that expensive

We do have no problem with calcium in Vancouver BC, however I do clean my machine every 6 month with professional cleaning product.
I have some mechanical issue here. As machine was working perfect till yesterday morning. The sound of the machine or little pump was not the same as usually.
Usually is for 3-5 second you can hear pump louder like is creating pressure and get quite when water starting to go from the filter. What is happening now pump does not starting to be quite, volume of the water passing filter is extremely slow and after 7-10 sec high pressure security valve pops off and realise pressure from the tank.
I don’t know how this machine functioning, i just took all in parts looking for answer for guys like you. What is the pump for any way? Is there any one way valve, to avoid pressure to go back to the tank?
Please help
