Head Phone Jack Connection Not Good

At first it seems like the headphone adaptor can be pushed all the way in. It should seat flush with the the step on the plug though. When properly seated the problem is solved.

Nextar MA933A MP3 PLAYER cant transfer files.... zzzz's appear

A lot of people have been complaining about this particular product.First of all, you have to format the player, but the instruction manual doesn't even mention this..
Plug one into the usb port and wait for it to detect. Then go to My Computer, and right click on the drive and Format.
You should now be able to copy songs over, although Protected mp3's WILL NOT PLAY ON THIS PRODUCT!!!

Hope this helps ;)

Head phone jack only plays right side/brad new headphones

Call Philips, get replaced - this is a common problem across all mp3 manufacturers. You can look at the YouTube video on repairing mp3 player headphone jacks, but i doubt it will work without causing more problems with your mp3 player.

1) Hold the power button (slider) in the on position for about 15-20 seconds to force the player to turn off, if it's already on.

2) Hold the menu button down and simultaneously hold the power button (slider) to the on position.

3) Do not let go when the device turns on. You will then get a screen message in black and white that reads (with a typo):

"WARRING !!!" will appear in red (and probably should read "WARNING". You will have the options of "No" and "Yes".

4) Choose "Yes" to re-format your device.

Static electricity

everything works but no volume comes out the dock or the head phone plug??

if it's the head phone plug you could have burnt something out in between well i guess that would be true either way

if it is the head phone plug there is a good likely hood you can get away with minor wallet skimming

if it's both then you got me and if it's the dock then just be happy it's not totally blown
