Remove random play

My husband just bought a Creative Zen SG8 MP3. He set up album playlists and was toying around and got the player to play random songs. Last night he tried to play an album and did not know how to stop it from playing random songs and go back to playing his entire playlist. Can you help?

Changing file names and creating playlists

Changing the filename won't change to artist, title, album ext... The easiest way I know of to change this is with MediaMonkey, a free media player. Click the link and install and open Mediamonkey. Find your MP3 player on the left side to browse the music. Highlight the music that you want to change the artist for in your MP3 player, right click>Properties.
You can also create playlists with MediaMonkey.

Creative zen sleek playlists

yes, go through the tracks that you want, and press the menu button, then select the add to selected option. Once you are finished with this, go to the now playing list, and select make playlist. It is alot easier if you connect it to your computer with the software though.

Your music is organised right? wink.gif That will solve your 1st problem.

Playlists will solve the second problem. My sister has some soundtracks which I don't really want polluting my player. Or browse your player by album to pull them up?

You can clear out playlists, go to the now playing view, tap the scroll strip to pull up the rating, and tap it again to show the current 'play order'. Bring up the context menu (right click) and go to remove... remove all.

I also have set my programmable key to "Add to playlist", much faster.
