Bought a car with an old Astrostart remote attached. No manuals included. It is a Astrostart J5F-TX903, it has three buttons, stop sign on top? thermometer in middle I think and a key on the bottom. Please help.

I have been searching 10 minutes and find nothing regarding it being compatible. Your best bet is to go to a local alarm installer and ask them to set it up. Or just try it.
Get under the dash or where the unit is located.
You will see 8 or 9 dip switches on the unit with an LED beside them.
Turn switch 1 and 8 on.
Press and release the brake. (LED will flash)
Press and hold start button on remote. (LED will flash and parklights will flash once.
Turn switch 1 and 8 to off.
Press and release the brake (LED will flash once)
In future would be a good idea to supply vehicle details etc as can sometimes be a known condition , that saves time looking it up , good luck
