Two methods:

Buy a USB card reader and put the music on the memory card, then plug it back into the phone.

or use a USB cable that may have come with your phone. Hook it to your PC or Mac, then drag and drop the music over to the phone.

When i try to download music to my memory card from Vcast, it looks like it's downloading but then at the end it says ''License Acquistion Failure.'' I call Verizon technical assistance and the guy told me...

Right okay. Try the following methods.

Method 1) Take the memory card out and attach it to your computer (if you havent got the right sized card for the computer, get a memory card reader for about £1 otherwise you can do this by plugging your phone into the computer using the cable you got with the phone, sometimes you have to select an option on your phone to allow it to open the memory card, simply read the manual for assistance) and copy all your music, videos etc from it to your computer and format it. (this can be done by going to "My Computer" and right click your memory card icon and select "Format" - this will delete everything but you have already copied it to your computer so you dont have to worry, just copy it all back when it has finished.

Method 2) If you have done the last method and it hasnt worked or you simply dont want to use this options, try downloading the Opera Mobile Browser from getjar.com, open the internet on your phone and goto this address: m.getjar.com and type this code in the box if it asks: 3334 - you will be taken to the place to download Opera web browser. When the download has completed, it will be saved as a game or an application, open Opera Mini Browser that you download and goto the page where you download music (Verizon) and try downloading, sometimes its the phone that doesnt allow you to download, not the memory card.

Method 3)

Plug your memory card into your computer and when it pops up with your memory card, goto www.beemp3.com and download the music you wish to listen to and copy it to the memory card, you now can listen to the music you have downloaded.

Diagnosis:

It seems your memory card is fine, the service that "Verizon" is giving you is not working properly. A license doesnt interfere with your memory card but it does with the website. My best conclusion would be that the site isnt working properly for you and anything you try to do will not work as all your hardware is working properly but the Verizon site isnt allowing you to download, this could be caused by your type of phone, the amount of downloading. It could be millions of reasons so i would recommend arguing the hell with Verizon and saying your memory card is fine (if you can access the files on your memory card, theres nothing wrong with it!!!) and that the service isnt working. If they dont do anything, just do the second method, this will allow you to download ALL the music you could ever want for free and you can just copy it onto your card. - if you need ANY help what so ever, dont hesitate to email me at [email protected]

Hope this helps,

Jake

Computer not recognizing 2G PNY Micro Sd

No problem at all. As long as the phone recognizes the memory card, you can transfer the pics from it. What you do is - connect the phone to the PC as a Mass Storage Device through a data cable using the USB port. It will appear in My Computer as an additional drive which can be used as any other drive in the HDD. Copy, paste, delete, whatever. However, remember that after the file transfer you must first stop using the card from an icon in the system tray and only when it tell you that it is safe to remove the card, then only detach it from the PC. Else there are chances of you card getting damaged.

How to copy mp3 from pc to the memorycard in my phone.

Better buy a card reader and copy in the memory card and the insert the card and enjoy music. This phone especially has a problem of "no good access" to memory card along with phone and also with phone.

Card reader/writer is the best option

I am using sciphone i68+ as well.i got same promblem as u guy that i copy music into memory card then go to Audio music player but i cant use Audio music player.Just when i copy music into phone memory,it...

The i68+ have a folder in the memory card that is called My Music, you need to transfer, copy or move you songs to this folder, if you say the the memory is not enough for 3 songs, then you are saving the songs in the phone, not in memory. If you transfer from BT and it state that is full, then again you are saving it in the phone and not in memory, you need to go to the BT settings and change the saving location.

Cant transfer music files from card to phone or find them.

I had the same problem and realised that you have to copy the file from the music section on your external memory to the sounds section. Firstly I sent an album to my memory card via windows media player and it went to the music section. My phone recongnised it was there on the external memory but not when I tried to play it through the mp3. I read an earlier message and it mentioned that the music needs to go into the sounds file so I copied it to that file and hey presto, I have music on my external memory that actually plays lol

You need to copy all your files from your memory card onto your pc, then format the memory card in the phone using them menu. Then copy all of your files back into the correct folders that the phone has created on your memory card.

Putting music on nokia 6205 from memory card

1. put card in computer and format
2. put card in phone, take a picture
3. open music app on phone (nothing should show up)
4. take out card, put in computer
5. copy songs to the newly created my_music folder

make sure all song filenames are only the song titles. all other information (artist, track number, album, etc, should go in the IDv3 tag as the phone will read this information).

I have 2 of these phones, and this is what seems to work for me.
