My iphone has been disabled

Hi, i just restore my iphone bcos of my ip has been lock my cust.
Step 1: Turn off your ip
Step 2: PRESS & HOLD home button, then PRESS & HOLD on/off button on the top
Step 3: DONT release both button, untill u see Apple logo display, then release the on/off button, in the meanwhile still HOLD the home button aorund 30 sec.
The display will come out a screen, it showed USB & iTunes logo.
Step 4: Open your iTunes, RESTORE. FINISH & DONE.
100% work...

a few weeks ago my iphone got stolen, thankfully i had recieved it back, however it was disabled! i plugged it into itunes and it didnt work! however after 1000 tries of plugging the usb cord in and out and turning the phone on and off it worked... maybe i just got lucky, but thats what worked for me

Restoring your phone is the easiest option. Plug into iTunes and click "restore".

all you need to do is turn off your iphone then hold the home button then hold the power button when the apple sign pops up let go of power button and hold the home button for another 30 seconds and should have the itunes logo and a usb port logo to sync it that means you set it back to its factory setting but sadly you loose all of your data hope it works

I just got my friend Iphone and It was disabled....it was lock wiht a passcode and it was already disable to where it didnt even show the passcode screen anymore...i open up Itunes connected the iphone....hold the power button to turn it off and after it shut off i hold the HOME button and then i hold the power button until i seen the apple screen and thats when i let go of the power button and holded the HOME button until it showed the ITUNES cd & Charger....After i seen that i disconnected the iphone and reconnected to itunes...and it was good to go....so i RESTORE It to factory settings....

here are the steps that you will do
hold the home botton and ON/OFF at the same time until the phone is OFF and ON when you see the apple logo release the ON/OFF botton but still hold the home botton until you see the USB connect.
hint: need to connect the phone and USB before to do this and the itune must open.

the best solution i bet guys guess wat .. while i was reading all ths i tried to open itune s and jus doubleclick on any 1 icon on the left side as u wud do to transfer sumthng in phone and it says sync in progress . .thats it the moment it says sync in prog . ur done .ur enter the passcode window will *** bak. all the best

ok maYBE JUST MAYBE THIS WOULD HELP I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND I CRIED ALL DAY BECAUSE IT WAS NEW I BOUGHT IT 2 DAYS AGO SO I WENT TO WHER I BOUGHT THAT PHONE THEY SAID SORRY MAM NO WARRANTY ON I-PHONES I SAID WELLL YOU GOT TO HELP ME ION SOME WAY...... HE SAID OK GO TO TIMES SQUARE THE BIGGEST SHARAF DG STORE IN DUBAI SO I WENT THEYR THAT SAME DAY I WENT TO THE SHARAF DG HELP THEY SAID TO ME THAT IT WOULD TAKE 1-2 DAYS TO FIX IT THERYR WERE LOTS OF PEOPLE SAYING THAT THEYR I-PHONE WAS DISABLED THEY GAVE ME CHECKS AND I SIGNED IT THEY TOOOK ONE COPY AND I DID ALSO. SO THEN THEY TOOK IT FOR 1 DAY AND TODAY IM WAITING FOR THEYR CALL IM SURE THAT THEY WILL CALL AND GIVE MY I-PHONE WITH IT WORKING SO I REALLY HOPE THAT IT WOULD HELP YOU GUYS BECAUSE I NOW HOW MUCH SUFFER YOU GUYS BEEN THREW I CRIED ALOTE AND I KNOW HOW YOU GUYS FEEEL IM SRRRYYYY IF IT DOESNT WORK BUT HOPEFULLY IT WILL GIVE IT A TRY IF YOU CAN. GO TO THE STORE U BOUGHT UR I-PHONE FROM AND TELL THEM IS THEYR ENYWAY TO FIX THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE THIS PHONE COST ALOTE THEYR TELLL ATLEAST SOME WAY. AND THATS ABOUT IT. HOPE ITL HELP BYE BYE

Hey, my phone had the same problem because my boyfriend tried to figure out the passcode too many times...idiot. I tried connecting the same as above just for the hell of it, plugging in and out the USB cord to my computer while connected to my phone. Well, miraculously, it worked!

Just Put your iphone in DFU MODE and restor to 1.1.4.!!!!

I had same problem. My son tried password many time and it got disabled with following warning.
"iPhone is disabled connect to iTunes"

I know password but couldnt open... as it got disabled.

I connected to itune but no change to display same message.., didnt know what to do. I didnt want to restore my old backup. So i tried taking backup.
(right click on iphone under devices left side and say backup.) this will display sync in progress on iphone. In middle of sync press home button and it will prompt you for password. Type password and enable your iphone.

Iphone is 10 years behind Nokia/Sony and other mobile vendors. They can’t seem to provide good documentation for such common problem.
Iphone is useless phone. At least give basic features like copy/paste, SMS forwarding, deleting songs, creating directory etc…
