Question about JVC HD-52Z575 52" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I've owned a JVC HD-52Z575 for about 2.5 years, and in the past year I experienced the following problem: When I power on the TV, thin vertical light-blue lines (about 2mm in width) appear across the whole screen uniformly separated by about 3cm (1.25 inches). When the problem first occurred about a year ago, the lines disappeared after about 5-10 minutes or so. Now it takes much longer for the lines to disappear - maybe closer to 1/2 hour or 45 minutes. The lines tend to disappear more quickly when the TV has been used more recently. Is this a salvageable problem with a proper part replacement? I had a repair technician look at the TV last year when the problem first occurred and he didn't seem to know what to do, and claimed the cost for repairs would be more than the cost of a new TV. Any help would be appreciated.
On your blue tube there is a crt broad that may have a bad capacitor 4.7uf 250 volts most likely it can be leaky not able to hold correct charge also it might have video ic on same broard breaking down, this will cause your problem unplug crt broad from bottom neck of tube turn set on see if problem goes away if so then it means you have problem with crt broad or it could be your tube.Hope this helps you out!
