YOU CAN TRY THIS:

Methode 1

1) With the printer powered off but connected to a power source, press the Power button while pressing and holding
the Stop/ Reset button.
2) When the Power LED is lit, press the Stop/Reset button two times while pressing and holding the Power button.
3) When releasing the Power button and the Stop / Reset button (regardless of order), the printer will move into a
service mode. (Waiting formenu selection)
4) When the LED lights in green, press the Stop/Reset button the specified number of time(s) according to the
function listed in the table below.(Each time the Stop/Reset button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in
orange and green, starting with orange.)

try to clean whit alcohol the contats of the ink cartridge and the place where the cartridge joins the printer, probably there is dry ink on the printer.

The replacement cartridge may have a dried out print head, or there could be an air bubble in the ink cartridge preventing ink flow. The only thing you can really do at home is to press the bottom of the cartridge, the print head into a folded paper towel lightly moistened with warm distilled water. Be careful as the goal is to have ink soak out of the cartridge and could get on your hands. If the print head is in good shape you should see a foot print of the print head, a rectangle roughly the same size as the silver area on the cartridge. If not try a few more times. If still nothing the cartridge will need to be replaced. Cartridge World stores have equipment to prevent/repair these kinds of issues, so maybe you can give you closest one a call. :)

i think there is a prblem about the ink cartridge. the noozle maybe it doesnt flow the ink or maybe you filled the cartridge too much of ink. try a new cartridge cartridge but before that try to clean the noozle of your ink cartridge.. - **wanski cebu**

the print head on the cartridge is bad. you will have to replace the cartridge.

These are the symptoms of a poor quality ink. If you have run the deep cleaning and alignment for the ink cartridges, I would replace the cartridges with OEM ink cartridges to clear the problem. Aftermarket inks are sometime not up to manufacturer specifications.
Try cartridges from LD Products. I've not had problems with their inks on my 5 different Canon printers.

It seems there are "new" chips & "old" chips in these ink cartridges for the HP 1200 inkjet printer. I have a cartridge with a "new" chip in and it is working fine. The printer doesn't read the "old" chips. Something to watch for when using refilled ink cartridges.
