I'm with miham on this one, only because I have a DC7100 as well, and I've inspected mine thoroughly. There is absolutely no room in these cases for extra fans, nor the power to draw for them without modification. The only place to add fans would be if you cut holes in the top of the case, and ensure there is enough clearance beneath the top of the case for the fan to be mounted.

I guess this problem is cause by your CPU Fan is not get enough power or to much dust in your CPU Heatsink. Or it probably cause by thermal compound need to replaced.

Honestly I'm suggested you need to get a qualified technician to solve that problem and avoid more seriously damage to your motherboard and processor.

Don't force to switch on anymore.

Computer Slowing Down???

We all have been feeling that our computers/laptops are slowing down gradually. There are a number of reasons for this phenomenon.
1. The slow processor. It seems that you have outgrown your computer and when you change the processor to a faster one, there is no guarantee that you will not outgrow this one too. Hence no one can help you overcome this problem as this will become recurring.
2. Fragmented HDD. The programs and data are written in chunks and not in one large piece. Thus it takes that many more moves of the read/write head of the HDD to read/write them. And that much more time. So we defrag the HDD to put them in as large a chunk as possible and thus save moves and time.
3. The bloated Windows Registry. This is a place that keeps track of all programs and devices installed on the computer. You install more programs or devices, it becomes fatter and fatter. And takes more time to read. Then you uninstall some programs or devices. Yes, some portion of the uninstalled program is removed but not all. Thus this debris keeps collecting and over the time (read programs) the registry keeps getting fatter. So what do we do? Simple. Clean it. Remove all the debris left by the uninstalled programs/devices. How? Use a registry cleaner. Yes, download one free today from sites like www.ccleaner.com. (Search Google for more sites offering free Registry cleaners. Follow the link as a guideline to search Search for Drivers Online.) A free, small program that install on your computer/laptop and when run, cleans the registry and also removes some other junk from your computer that you do not need.
My laptop had started taking more than 20 minutes to boot. And after using this cleaner it now gallops like a new one.
Try it.

Hi. I have a HP laptop pavilon dv 4t Entertainment pc. frequently its interactive log on process fail. Also it seems too slow to boot and I think in all processes it is slow working while its fan works...

the is overheating, ever get the lent cleaned out.
all CPUs run slower if overheated, all do, or halt. of too bad.
run it with no battery yet, see if all is ok, first.?
batteries are #1 failure point items.
no pc can run too long, and not pack full of lent.
why not just get the PC serviced by a tech, he knows all this magic.
cleans it, tests it, etc..

Dryer shuts off after about 10 minutes. Motor feels hot, real hot. I think it is overheating and shutting off. The lower the setting the longer it will run. Is it the Thermal fuse or thermostat?

There might be a problem with the bushing of the dryer motor that causes the rotor to become shorted with the magnetic field and that's the reason why it becomes too hot. It is also the reason why the thermostat shuts off the motor when it becomes too hot to avoid overheating. Replace the bushing of your motor.

Asprie 3690 acts like it overheats, has no battery life unless plugged in, going to order a new one. but runs really slow on start up and shut down and through out programs. Can hear fan running, then...

The overheating is causing this. Still, if you think that battery is doing that, take off your battery pack and turn it on with the adapter only.
Overheating is a very common problem with notebooks, To solve the overheating problem you will have to clean the heat sink and the fans of the laptop.
If you need assistance on how to clean the fan and the heat sink, please comment and I will be there to help you out.

It is agonizingly slow. Takes 8-10 minutes to get

Generally, a slow computer is either overheating (Use compressed air to try can clean out the air intakes and exhaust vents) or a HDD that is almost full (Go to MY COMPUTER, right click C:, Properties, and see if at least 15% of the Hard drive is free)
Some utilities like Advanced Windows Care (Download.com) may help improve performance
You can also check the BIOS and ensure speedstep is disabled

My computer is becoming really hot and noisy. After turning on the computer, everything is good (no noise). Once around 15 minutes passes by or I open up a lot of programs together, my computer starts...

Sounds like the fan is wearing out, as it heats up the fan needs to spin faster and if the bearings are wearing out it will start getting louder and it will also get hotter because the fan cannot keep up the heat being produced. You can replace the fan, most computer shops will carry replacements, also get a can of compressed air and give the inside of the computer a good cleaning. This will help keep things cooler as well. Also make sure that the air vents on the outside of the case are clear as well.

AMD64 2 CORE 4000+

The processor has nothing to do with it. Definetly your system is infected by a virus or a trojan or spyware. Please download free antivirus like QUICK HEAL and make a thorough scan. If this doesnt solve, the IC [circuits] of your chipset might be overheating. The general symptom for this is the computer freezes and refuses to perform any tasks after few minutes of loading the os.
First please make a scan and also post the picture of your taskmanager showing the different processes running.

Overheat?

It sounds like an overheating problem. When it is booted, does it run ok other than just being slow? Check your cooling fan and make sure it is running and not stopped up. That is a number one symtom of overheating is freezing and rebooting by itself. There is a free program called "Motherboard Monitor 5" that will monitor the temp for you and set off an alarm when it is getting to hot. Check that problem first. Hopes this helps!
