Re: wont turn on
Your power supply is faulty or if youve set your comp to hibernate and it loses power it battles to turn back on . If so turn off at wall socket and watch battery light on the mother board , when it switches off turn plug back on.

You are plugged into the DC adaptor. Have you checked the mains wall power is working and if your DC adaptor is working? May need a tech with a multi meter. Also there is a fuse on the motherboard, but thats getting tricky
Sounds like you are either in standby mode, or your hard drive is damaged and blocking the boot process. If it's a standby problem, quickly taping the power button should wake it up. If it's a hard drive problem you can disconnect both the hard drive data cable and hard drive power to see if it will power up.
