Question about Washing Machines
Machine cycles normally until it has 6 minutes left, Then after 5 minutes
of being stuck in the spin/ autofluff cycle, an " Ld " ( long drain ) code
is displayed on the LED board. I checked the drain hose, pump for lint
blockage, and the pump suction and discharge hoses. Sears has replaced both electronic control panals, the pump two times, the
u-joint. This machine has had more problems, than I can count.
The machine is 6 years old, we kept on renewing the warranty, but
this time the cost to extend the warranty was more than the machine
is worth. We had another Kenmore washer ( an inexpensive one ) that
lasted 15 years. This "advanced" model, The Calypso is CRAP.
have you removed bottom panel and cleaned pump..old style pump was held om with clips but the splined shaft in the pump would strip out and never pump properly only solution was replace pump/motor assembly..new style pump had 4 screws in bottom and could be removed and cleaned

The code on your machine stands for 'Long Drain'. Ld flashes if it takes longer than 5 minutes to pump out water to a point where the operating pressure switch resets. I would bet that the bath mats left a bunch of stuff stuck in the recirculation pump hose, or pump itself, and the water cannot be drained fast enough. Check the intake and exit hoses of the recirc pump. It's easiest to get to the pump through the front panel of the machine(click here). Looks like this: click here. Hope this helps.
(Definitely get under there and check to make sure the pump hoses are not clogged. At $129 it's an expensive fix for a $10 bath mat that clogged up the hose with fuzz. 'know what I'm sayin'' :o) )
BTW, I have the maintenance manual & have experience at replacing the recirc. pump, control board, motor board, touchpad, & lid switch so far.

Thanks for using FixYa. Error code LD means Long Drain. It flashes when washer takes longer than 5 minutes to pump out water to a point where the operating pressure switch resets.
Error code CA means Average current limit. This error code will display if the load of clothes is more then the normal load. Also if current limit breaches then status signal comes back from the motor controller. The unit will return to standby mode and display CA. Average current trip occurs if the current draw at the motor windings is greater than 5.55 amps in 2 seconds. This error occurs if there is a problem with the drive motor, thermal protector or motor controller. Over-loading the unit may cause this problem.
Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.
