hi, there are two kinds of white screen in n70 , the first one is because of damage LCD (glass screen) , defective display driver (small chips that makes the display works) and the other one is corrupted software...in damage lcd the phone will detected by computer because its software is still working...so , the problem of your N70 im sure is the second one , corrupted software....your phone needs to reprogram,and need to go to a nokia care center to fix you problem... i hope ,i will help you ,thanks for trusting fixya...
Hi, It can be probably be a virus may be(Not sure)..But dont worry unless it affects the performance of ur phone or unless it hangs!..try to upgrade you phone software at a nearest Sony Ericsson showroom which will help you!!..
Try updating the phone trough Sony Ericsson's website. Using your data cable. You have to hold in the c button when you connect your phone to the cable. ( When the update service asks you to connect your phone.) Wait for the update to finish and check to see if it worked. ( Worked for me )
