Is your mobile under warranty ?
If yes then you can ask for your operator to change the joystick in your mobile .

Joystick button is damaged only option is it to change it .
Nothing can be done other than changing it .

Doesnt work when i push or pull on the stick
If it's anything like an authentic joystick control, there may be a switch where your fingers rest which must be gripped/engaged in order to achieve movement, but i've never actually seen this controller so I can't be certain.

Game will not recognize the joystick.
If it doesnt work, then try the controller. If the controller works, then just use that. Sometimes the system does not recognize the joystick.
