Question about HP DeskJet 5550 InkJet Printer
I bought a new black ink cartridge (56) last Thursday, and everything was fine up until two days ago, when I started getting the message "The print cartridge in the right hand cradle has failed and must be replaced." We tried cleaning the connection points with a cotton swab--didn't help. We invited our mechanically-inclined neighbor over to check to see if the cradle was damaged--nothing wrong there. I can't imagine what the problem could be, especially considering that we bought this cartridge only a week ago and it was working fine for a while. Any suggestions?
Try to have your cartrige replaced... it must be under warranty
