Question about Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS Receiver
Screen is stuck
will not turn on or off
it shows the basic display but will not respond to any on or off
it shows up as on all the time
Don't know why it happens, but mine did the same thing. There's a reset button on the back, underneath where you lift up the antenna. Unplug the unit from the power source, push the reset button, reconnect to a power source and it should work fine; mine did. Good luck. Got this info from my Garmin owner's manual.

Yes it's normal your unit seems to be lock up , did you play with the lock up screen via the menu or did you insert a 4 digits to lock up , it look like you did.
Contatc GARMIN and ask for Automotive technician. He will do a short test with you by phone. Be prepare with serial number and the yellow card who has your SERIAL CODE for GARMIN.
I had 2 units of 660 and it work very well. They are the best unit , better than those new 7xx series who has cheap internal speaker.
