Hi,no reset, Just make sure the Box (Lamp Enclosure) is pushed in firmly on both sides, left and right. Left side to hit the power connection and Right side to hit the little relay switch, Must be flush against that back side. it happened to me and I was kicking myself in the ***, a entire weekend went by with a brand new lamp sitting in the enclosure but not completely set in correctly with a flashing red light.
Also get the outside lamp cover in just right where it touches the sensor and sits flush. That's what helped for me.

Check the lamp switch that is located inside the door. Place the lamp in, and stick a flathead screwdriver in the slot (just make sure it moves) hold it there, and turn on the Tv. If that doesn't work check the new lamp, is it a generic lamp, if so they dont always work. If you still have your old orig lamp, take the old lamp out of that housing, and out the new lamp in the old housing. This should fix the problem.
Just make sure the lamp door is on straight/properly. Also make sure the lamp is installed correctly. Do not overtighten the lamp door screw or you may break it or strip it. The door should fit on striaght so just make sure the metal bracket fits along the door correctly and tighten the screw but don't overtighten.
