Has symantec/norton gone out of business? I can't log onto any websites to register my norton 360 product.

I can help you re-install the Norton program onto your computer. please download the latest version of Norton 360 from the link www.norton.com/n360s_5 and install it onto your computer.
Please note that if it is a premier edition, follow the link www.norton.com/n360p_5
After the installation, it will ask you for a product key. Please copy and paste your Product key to activate the Norton 360 version 5 onto your computer.

Uninstall the product or product remains from the Hard drive, check there are no folders in the HDD or the registry and then install the software again.

if you are using norton 360 standard edition then go to the following site

from there you can download and install the product
after installing the product insert the product key to actiavte the product

you should be able to go to their site and log in with the same email/password as when it was purchased/registered. look in your account activity there. it should let you download your purchase again.

You can purchase Norton 360 Upgrade pack at Symantec Store by visiting http://shop.symantecstore.com. If you don't want to spend money on now. You can check for the upcoming Norton Internet Security 2011 Beta. You will get 120 days of protection by registering. Just google it.

Before you could reinstall the product, you need to ensure that the last instance of the product has been removed completely else it may create issues with the new installation. To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Click Here to download the Norton Removal Tool. Download the file from the website and save it on your desktop. Now run the file (Right-click and Run as Administrator for Vista and Win7 users). After cleanup, the tool would ask you to reboot your machine. This removes the Norton product completely from your computer.
2. Now goto http://www.symantec.com/norton/index.jsp and download the trial version of your product and install it on the computer. You can also use the disk for installation, if you have one.
3. On installation, the product would give you the activation screen to register the product. Fill in your activation details appropriately to activate the license.
