The words keep scrolling. Same exact issue.

i have the same scrolling problem and i've checked the button at the back of the unit. button isnt the problem nor is the tv. i've also noticed the disc insert goes slower than normal and the lights on the front seem a little dim. i checked the electrical connections and at the receptacle i'm getting full voltage. any suggestions or is it time to update my unit? its about 5 years old and gets used around 40 hours a year.

The words roll on my JVC XL SV22 as well. As understand it, if this were a TV all you would have to do is adjust the vertical hold button. Of course there is no such button on this machine. The problem is not my TV as it works fine when not hooked up to the Karaoke.
