Question about Durabrand STS92 System

1 Answer

Broken Remote My remote was shattered beyond recognition. I went to Wal-Mart and they told me that a Universal remote wouldn't work with the surround sound system. I was wondering if I could order another remote through the company?

I have a RCA surround sound system RT2760 the remoye has been destroyed, where can I purchase a new remote?

You can either try ordering a that specific remote from RCA. or you can buy a "universal" remote from Wal-Mart, Shopko, Target etc.

You can also go to the RCA website and contact customer support through this link:

RCA RTD215 surround sound

I could only get surround sound for DVD, NOT cable/TV--regular audio jacks only give stereo for cable/tv, NOT surround sound. Very disappointing. Any thoughts/solutions for how to get surround sound? Cable box has digital output, but no input on the rtd 315, any help available? THX

Lost Remote for my Durabrand HT-395 Home Theater Systom

There are no codes you program into the remotes unless they are learning remotes. If you did the manual search for the code, then the universal remote will not work on that unit I'm afraid. You see you are not entering the code into the remote when you push the numbers the book tells you to. What you are doing is accessing the pre programed codes that are already programed into the remote. You cannot add any codes for universal remotes unless like I said before, they are called learning type remotes. Those cost loads of cash. Good Luck
