When i connect my m-cody M30 mp3 player to my PC by USB, to which folder should i put my mp3 files to make it work? can it be in folders?

Yes it can be in folders. It may have a video, picture, music folders etc. if so for your music, create sub folders in the music folder for each album or artist/band and place the music files in these folders so you can easily select and play the music by artist/band/album etc.

My player (sansa clip 2gb)won't read tags (artist, album ...)

You check your songs from your computer first; Right click on one of songs, select Properties, select Summary tab (check Artist, Album Title, and Title). If they are there, you should update new firmware (search SANDISK FORUM from google). If they are empty, it's right for device display the filename.

When I press

it's because the iriver doesn't reconize the artist. the artist name, album etc is set in the file's info. you can write that info yourself so the iriver can reconize it. for example I opened Winamp, imported the songs I wanted in my iriver, right clicked on the the first songin my list, selected FILE INFO and went on and completed the artist field myself. did the same to every other song....and now the iriver reconizez the takes some time indeed...and I don't know of any other easyer method that works.....but this one surely will. good luck :)

I can't add new music folders to my sansa e260 because some go to

open windows media player and goto libary click on album artist. The sub folders will be named by the artists and the unknown songs will be in the sub that say's unknown. Click on unknown then right click on the title bar put a check next to artist and album artist. Right click song under artist or album artist or both and type in the name of the artist etc.... then syc with your sansa then load songs to it........

Samsung K3 mp3 player

To erase a music file, you must plug the K3 into the computer, and when a window pops up that says "Open in Folder", "Open with Media Player", etc. Choose "Open in Folder" then go to "Internal Storage", then choose "Music". From there, you can delete by artist, or if you click on a folder that has an artist's name for the title, you can erase by album. From there you can erase by track by double clicking on an album folder.
To erase, right click the folder you wish to delete, and select "Delete".

Music loaded but not recognized under Artist

If you use a fileshare program to download music, sometimes some of the song information is changed and/or deleted. The album information is probably still with the song, but the artist info isn't. It's really stupid but the only thing you can do is just find the song through albums instead of artist.

Ipod doesn't show music in artists, only in albums.

Go to Get Info and unclick "Compilation". If it's a compilation it won't show the different artist, which is actually a cool idea.
