Sensor error

Every time i go to print it says there is a sensor error. I have to lift the top and wipe down the black ridges on the top inside cover. Then it will work. I ahve followed the directions in the manual which says i need to push the lock lever back and they are as far back as they can go. Any suggestions.

I have changed the toner and ink cartridges several times and it has just started doing this. Thanks

GuruChange the toner with a new oki one, if that fails change the drum too
Sensor error should inicate colour too ie K sensor error is black

With Genuine oki ones?
No ink in this model it is toner

Hi again just had cust with same issue, if you look at side of toner unit(handle side) there is a little rectangle window that goes empty or black when toner is out, it is silver when has toner, this lines up with a sensor that looks at window, clean this area and ensure window is silver.
