Error Fix When scanning Registry, the window will show 52 entries have been found. The programme continues to run, but then ceases to show any more entries & the Total Progress remains stationary @ about 20 % of the bar. I allowed my computer to operate for over one hour & there was no change. I tried to ‘Abort’ but the ‘Abort’ failed to operate. Eventually, I closed the programme thru the ‘X’ in top right corner of window. Please help me?

you did not say which program you are using to scan your Registry. There are several versions which are free which are in themselves spyware. I need to know the program you are using.
