Question about Logitech Z-560 Computer Speakers

1 Answer

Where can I purchase...

I think that I have a shortage in the male piece stemming from the control tower that plugs into the computer/ipod/tv etc(the green head). The sound either comes out of 3 speakers or none. The sub is fine. When I jiggle and torgue the coil next to the green head I occasionally get to enjoy surround sound. I've thought of cutting the piece off, going to radioshack, finding a replacement, and reattaching it. Or openning the tower and replacing the wiring. some feedback would be great. How much would that tower cost alone?

thanx J

Re: Where can I purchase...

I think is better to get your equipment, to repair shop and see to fix the input for the sound, it is better, or buy a new board, it is cheap, you may found, on 140.00 less ASUS or SOYO brands,
good luck

Altec lansing connect

IM600 Compatibility: iPod mini; iPod classic 3G, 4G, 5G, 5.5G, 6G; iPod nano 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G; iPod touch 1G, 2G; auxiliary input connects to any CD, DVD, or MP3 player using a stereo mini-plug. If you have a mini-plug port on the IPhone which I believe you have; then attach a male to male plug in between the two devices. Take to Radio Shack for correct line plug.

I've connected an IPod to the main speaker microphone input; I get no sound at all.

The connection you made is wrong. You have to connect the phones form the IPod to any available line in of your amplifier - audio system using a cable like this
This cable is common known as 3.5mm male jack to 2 male RCA.

In case you'd like a link to buy on line this cable or if a problem or clarification or further details needed, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.

I just got the logitech z323 speakers for my computer and i wanted to see if i could hook them up to my sony flat screen. i was wondering if there is a way to do that and if so how?

Logitech speakers connect with a cable that fits into something like an iPod or computer (Usually with a green tip). If your TV uses the usual 3 connectors (White Red and Yellow) you can go to the store (Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Online, etc.) and purchase a converter that will convert the Red White and Yellow cables to the Green cable. These are cheap and involve no electronics, but make sure that you buy one that has a male to female connection (will plug IN to your TV and has an opening to plug the green cable into)

I bought Boston Acoustics MediaTheater Computer Speakers as part of a package with my Gateway computer about 12 years ago. I would like to use the speakers with my IBM Think Pad (laptop) that runs on...

A male to male audio cable should work depending on your laptop, but don't think you would need a driver. I used a male audio to male RCA and hooked this to my TV and works great.

Dell lime green subwoofer cable 5G068 for an older Dell Dimension deck top tower. I lost it when moving and need a replacment

all you need to do is run over to radio shack or best buy, and purchase a 3.5mm to 3.5mm male to male cable, about 6-10 feet should be plenty

Mm50 as extension from MacBook

Your Logitech MM50 has an auxiliary input that accepts industry standard 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo cables. The Macbook's headphone out jack with the icon of a small set of headphones is the audio out. You will need a male to male cable which is available from Radio Shack for a few dollars.

No sound from speakers

If you buy a 1/8 - 1/8 male on each end of cord and plug it into your stereo headset plug on your computer (probably the front of tower) and the other end to the analog in on the back of your ba735 will work great....... Good Luck,

I see no way to plug my ipod into my coby mp37

I think the input is right under one of the legs that swings the cover open. I just looked at mine but can't try it until I get a cord for it. Let me know if that works.

I am not able to see any way to plug my ipod to my colby cs- mp37

On the top around the back you will see a hole that states "input" this is a 3.5 hole for your male to male jack.

No sound from speakers

Hi, Did you install the sound driver in your new computer? That is the first issue you should try. If the little speaker appearr at the lower right of the screen then the spearkers should be ready to go.
