Question about Logitech Z-560 Computer Speakers

1 Answer

Where can I purchase...

I think that I have a shortage in the male piece stemming from the control tower that plugs into the computer/ipod/tv etc(the green head). The sound either comes out of 3 speakers or none. The sub is fine. When I jiggle and torgue the coil next to the green head I occasionally get to enjoy surround sound. I've thought of cutting the piece off, going to radioshack, finding a replacement, and reattaching it. Or openning the tower and replacing the wiring. some feedback would be great. How much would that tower cost alone?

thanx J

I think is better to get your equipment, to repair shop and see to fix the input for the sound, it is better, or buy a new board, it is cheap, you may found, on 140.00 less ASUS or SOYO brands,
good luck

How do I connect my Lenco IPOD/IPhone Tower 1 docking station to my LG LeD tv to play tv audio through the tower speaker insteat of the tv speaker?

If your TV has RCA (L/R) audio outputs, buy a 3.5 mm Male to 2-Male RCA Adapter cable to hook up your TV to the 3.5 mm AUX IN jack on your docking station.

FCan get my Ipod to play through my Roland TD-20 Mudule

You need to get yourself a cable - with a 3.5mm male jack plug on one end (which will fit into your ipod), and a 1/4 inch male jack plug on the other end.

(you could use a lead with a 3.5mm male plug on each end, and used a 3.5mm female to 1/4 inch male adaptor to achieve this)

Connect the 3.5mm end into the ipod - play a track, with the volume at say, 75%.

Connect the 1/4 inch end of the cable to the 'Mix In' input in the back of your TD20.

Use the 'Mix In' control - at the top right hand side of your TD-20 module to control the volume.

If you wish only to have the iPod going to (for example) headphones - and not Front Of House (PA) speakers - which you will have connected via the Master and / or Direct Out(s); this can be achieved in the 'Mixer' settings (accessed via pressing the 'Mixer' button).

Install external monitor from desktop to laptop

If your laptop does not have the 15 pin plug (VGA Port) then you will need to get some type of adapter that will make the monitor work. You probably have a DVI monitor.

You just need to make sure you get the correct type of adapter and make sure the ends that plug into the computer are correct such as male or female. For example think of the human male and female body parts when you look at adapters. The vga port on the computer is called a Female port, but the piece that plugs into it is called Male. It's the same with DVI ports.

I think you need a VGA Male to a DVI Female so below is a link to one and for $2.54 from Cable Wholesale.

Below is a picture of what it looks like.

While driving my ford taurus bogs down and does not want to accelerate

Hi well if this is happening most likely you have a fuel shortage this maybe caused by a carburetor being out of tune, or indeed it maybe dirty, points and/or spark plugs, bad sparkplug leads, or even a faulting Coil, but I doubt that it is anything to serious? In any event I think that a good tune up will most likely fix your problem. If you can do it yourself, then give the motor a FULL tune up, replace/clean the leads, points. plugs, adjust the carburetor's mixture etc. etc. Check the Fuel filter, get yourself a workshop manual, this will show you what and how to do it if you are to DIY. If NOT then simply take it in to a reputable mechanic and ask them for a "Tune Up", explain what's what, I know this may sound sexist, but anyway, if you are a lady, please take a male friend etc, with you, or indeed to take care of it all, for you, as i have found that sometimes ladies get "Taken advantage of" from time to time, having a male seems to lessen this risk, especially if the male is a car buff etc.

I just got the logitech z323 speakers for my computer and i wanted to see if i could hook them up to my sony flat screen. i was wondering if there is a way to do that and if so how?

Logitech speakers connect with a cable that fits into something like an iPod or computer (Usually with a green tip). If your TV uses the usual 3 connectors (White Red and Yellow) you can go to the store (Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Online, etc.) and purchase a converter that will convert the Red White and Yellow cables to the Green cable. These are cheap and involve no electronics, but make sure that you buy one that has a male to female connection (will plug IN to your TV and has an opening to plug the green cable into)

all you need to do is run over to radio shack or best buy, and purchase a 3.5mm to 3.5mm male to male cable, about 6-10 feet should be plenty

I have a male ipod connector in my car to attach an ipod to. I do not have an ipod but would like to be able to connect a standard mp3 player to this connect point via a jack plug. Please can you advise if...

If your Sony has female RCA Aux inputs, then you can use that going headphone out of MP3 player to the RCA inputs. You won't be able to view or controll any other player from the head unit except an iPod.

No sound from speakers

If you buy a 1/8 - 1/8 male on each end of cord and plug it into your stereo headset plug on your computer (probably the front of tower) and the other end to the analog in on the back of your ba735 will work great....... Good Luck,

I see no way to plug my ipod into my coby mp37

I think the input is right under one of the legs that swings the cover open. I just looked at mine but can't try it until I get a cord for it. Let me know if that works.

Hi, Did you install the sound driver in your new computer? That is the first issue you should try. If the little speaker appearr at the lower right of the screen then the spearkers should be ready to go.
