You may have been reading about it, but it doesn't mean anyone else has. All the info I can get from your statement is that you keep getting redirected when you visit websites. But you haven't given any info that would help to solve this issue.
A quick search on google brought up some pages about a virus redirecting people when they try to use google in particular and sometimes other sites as well. Is this what you mean?
If it is then you'll need to either
1. Use several antivirus/antimalware software to get rid of the virus. - Saves the hassle of formating your pc, but doesn't guarantee a clean system.
There are plenty of good free programs out there, most are actually better than the expensive ones. Here's a few recommendations: Avast antivirus - the best one in my opinion, search and destroy - good antispyware, Adaware - also a good spyware program use them both
If none of the antimalware products help much then, you'll need to go to one of the forums on the list from the link below or go with option 2.
2. Format your computer and reinstall your operating system. - This can be easier if you have a virus thats really hard o get rid of. It also guarantees a clean system, at least for a while.
You'll need a setup disc for whatever OS you are using and a valid cd key(unless it's a version of Linux, as you don't need a cd key for it)
Backup any important data to dvd or flash drive first.
Put the disc in and boot from it, you may need to go into the bios and set the cd/dvd drive as the first boot device first. Then it's just a matter of following the on screen instructions and making sure you format your system drive (ie. C drive) before installing the OS.
You'll also need to learn how to surf the web properly so you don't get viruses all the time.
The link below has a list of anti malware forums, If you post your problem on one or more of those then the experts on there can help you more.
