I've got an all-pro patio heater, SPC-54PHB, that I have trouble with every fall. In the past I have used canned air to clean the area around the pilot and the heater would start working. This year I've done all of my usual stuff but the heater still does not work. I have used matches and I can hear the gas light for just a second and then go out. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can get my heater up and running? Thanks

Go away. I thought I was getting a free service. I have my doubts if you can solve anything other than trying to milk someone out of 19.95 a month.

Rotor failed. Replaced, won't ignite. Glow plug lites. Is it possible piece of rotor is lodged in fuel delivery system?

Yes, I would say, it's possible. Try emptying the tank and see if you hear any ratting inside the tank, when you shake it. Once the pressure is off the tank, any debris may fall back into the tank.

You may also want to check the fuel filter for dirt and debris, as well as the air intake filter.
Also, there may be air in the lines.

In checking the Owners Manual for your model heater, there's not much there, as far as Trouble Shooting is concerned. Never the less, I am providing a link to it, You can download and print it for future reference, if you so desire.

We push the bottom it goes on, stays on as long as we hold the button then turns itself off. HELP Thank you

These are two of the most common issues that cause the problem you're having.

If it's been used in a dirty or dusty environment, it may simply need a thorough cleaning. In addition, the propane tank may not have adequate gas to maintain combustion.

All pro SPC 150 has spark but will not egnite.Thank you for any help you can pass my way. I can bye this for 35.00 and wondering if it could get pricy to fix. I would think the propane is not getting...

you are on the right track. Disconnect the hose and check just the heater itself for obstructions. There should be an orfice that can be cleaned with a small needle. If this doesnt work, go to the pressure regulator and take off the cap. It will expose a screw for the adjustment on the gas pressure. Cw will increase the pressure and ccw will decrease the pressure. you have almost no adjustment on the primary air that is mixed with the gas so make sure you operate in a well ventilated area and watch for excessive black smoke. this is a sign of incomplete combustion of the gas and can be very dangerous

Did you clean the flame sensor probe? Take a piece of sandpaper or metal file and clean it. Try that.

One of two things, you need to clean it but it may only that the tank at the end and soon need to be replaced ort refill… check and see if anyone played with the pressure regulator.
