Turntable switch?

After 6 months of working fine, the turntable switch refuses to operate properly..... It should click 'on' by moving to the right..... but now moving to the right causes a 'click', but no action. Moving to the LEFT, almost to the centerpost, will cause it to operate, but moving 1/16" further, or moving the arm back to the right turns it OFF. So the power is there; the motor is functional; and it seems like the switch has an alignment problem......
any suggestions ?????????
