Hooking up to PS2?

On the box it shows that these speakers work with PS2. I can not figure out how I'm suppose to connect them to my PS2. The instructions are the worst instructions ever! They only show you how to hook up to a computer. Does anyone know how to hook it up to a PS2. Why would it say it on the box if you can't?

We are hooking the speakers up to a new computer and we don't have the software

Threre is no software for these speakers. This is the installation guide:
Make sure you have the proper sound device activated and volume turned up. If after speaker set up, you have no sound, get into your "device manager" and click on the box next to"sound, video and game controllers"(on right) and, righy click on each device that shows in the list. You should see "disable". If you see "enable" click on that and exit. You should have a speaker icon in your taskbar, lower right of screen. Right click on that and then on "open sound mixer" and, adjust your volume.

I have Boston Digital BA735 speakers and a MacBook. One of the small speakers plugs in and works good. Is it possible to get the larger one to be compatible?

I reviewed the manual on these speakers and since they are digital speakers, you have to have a sound card that is capable of digital output. I believe that all Macbooks are capable of digital output, so you may not be hooking them up correctly. Here is a link to the Quick Manual for these speakers. Make sure the cables are plugged in as it shows.

Speakers not working - PS2 plug has come out

Honestly, if they are packard bell speakers they are 1. old, 2. may have a propritery connection that is no longer found. A new set of speakers will only cost $20 at walmart, might be easier to just invest in a new set!

Connecting SRS-BTM30 bluetooth speakers to my vista laptop

This has also been sending me around the bend. I resolved it by disabling the speakers on my laptop. To do this go into control panel, then hardware and sound, then change system sound. Select your speakers and disable them. This allowed me to play music through the speakers. You can also re-enable the laptop speakers after this.

Connecting my inspire 5.1 to use with my sat/tv system

I had originally bough these speakers for the sole purpose of connecting them to my 26" LCD Vizio television. I quickly realized that these speakers were not made for a television, so I just kept them connected to my desktop PC.
However, one day I asked my buddy from college to look at them and see what he thought. It took him a while to figure it out, but here is how I have them hooked up.
I can not guarantee that this will work on any other television set, but it does on mine. On the back of my Vizio television there is a hookup called "optional audio," which is located beneath the yellow, red, and white hookups. I hooked a 3-way headphone splitter into the "optional audio" hookup and then plugged the three cables from the speakers into the splitter.
Hooking up your speakers like this works very good and the sound is equally distributed between all speakers. However, there is a setting on my television under the sound menu that enables you to turn "surround" on. I had been told that by using a 3-way headphone splitter I wouldn't be able to get true surround sound, but turning on this option on my television actually allows this to be accomplished.

Hope this works for you. I purchased the 3-way splitter at radioshack and it was under $10. If your television does not have an "optional audio" hookup, you could probably try an RCA connector with just the red and white hookups that split into one and then connect the 3-way splitter to that.
