I need a manual for a Pioneer Audio/Video Multi channel Receiver VSX-1016TXV

click the below link to view the manual.

The user guide below is in PDF format. So you need the ltest version of adobe acrobat reader to be able to view the manual.

Also, you need to wait and allow the manual load completely, before you scroll through it for view. And you can print out the manual for future reference.

If the manual page is small and unreadable, expand the view by pressing Ctrl and + (plus) on your keyboard to increase the view. Thne Ctrl and - (minus) to reduce if it becomes too large.

I am trying to hook up a powered sub woofer to a yamaha rx-v461 and i dont know what cables go where on the back of the sub there are two speaker ports and there are two plug ins but each speaker port has...

Your subwoofer probably has both high-power inputs and "normal"low inputs. The first are for receivers, which don't have link-level output for sub, so they are able to take already amplified signal as input.
You need to use link-level input of your sub and connect it to subwoofer-output of your receiver. The output is marked as OUTPUT - Subwoofer and is black-color RCA plug (don't confuse with subwoofer INPUT under MULTI CH INPUT).
Receiver has only mono output for subwoofer. If your sub has stereo input (white/red RCA plugs), connect just the left channel to the receiver, it will still work.
Don't connect anything to the speaker output on the sub, you don't need that.

Yamaha RX-V630 Is not responding to the remote control unit

Replace the remote control with a universal remote (e.g. Logitech). It is more advanced and very user friendly with a help function if anything doesn't work.
Just follow the instructions in the unit's manual.
If you drop it; be sure to replace the batteries correctly.
Keep good batteries in it and enjoy the convenience of only one remote.
If still in trouble; just visit your local Yamaha dealer for help.

I have an akai aa-a25 reciver and right side speakers only work

I had this problem when I first got this receiver back out of years in a box, but it was fixed by pressing the reset button on the back. Hope that works for you!

Reciver need to adjust bass or trebel

Hi Brent

hhmmmm, I searched through the manual to find this info for you. It appears that the tone adjustments are initiated by the "tone" button on the REMOTE. I could not find any reference to there being a button to do same on the front of the unit. Odd, but there you go.
  1. Use the tone key(on remote) to get "tone" up on the front of the unit.
  2. Then using the multi up-down keys, turn the "tone on".
  3. Once you have got to here, use the tone key to select "bass" or " treble"
  4. Using the multi up down keys, adjust the tone controls to your liking with the multi up down keys
you can download the manual from

Just enter your email address and away you go. Good Luck. A "FixYa" rating would be great for my time to research this for you.

Only 2 channels working

If your new reciver does not have a turntable input, you can purchase a phono preamp and simply plug the turntable into the preamp and the output of the preamp to an aux or tape input of the new reciver. they should have it or be able to get it at radio shack. Or look up online or build one as I had to do as im a cheap skate, but I know what I have now..Check this out. i included the preamp i built so i can still use my collection of vinal with my surround sound system. Good luck and please dont forget to rate this thread.
